Aldi is investing £650million through its store opening and refurbishment programme in 2025, with each new site creating around 40 jobs

Aldi is set to close one of its stores next week - but it isn’t all bad news.

The budget supermarket chain will be closing the doors for the final time on its shop in Sheaf Street, Daventry, on November 26. The store has been open since 2010.

But a new store at the Abbey Retail Park will open the following day (November 27) so shoppers won’t be without an Aldi for very long. The new store will replace the existing Aldi on Sheaf Street.
