New Delhi: ChatGPT is widely used for assignments, project help and quick explanations. Until now, each person had to chat with the AI separately, even when working on the same task, like for example college students doing group assignments or some kind of office task. OpenAI has now added a new feature called group chats, which lets multiple users talk to ChatGPT together in one conversation.

This feature is available to everyone, including people using the free version. OpenAI also says that only the replies written by ChatGPT will count towards rate limits. This means all group members can send as many messages as they want without affecting the limit, as long as ChatGPT is not replying each time.
