Tata Chemicals on Friday cleared investments totalling ₹910 crore to expand manufacturing capacities at its plants in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. The board approved ₹135 crore to increase dense soda ash capacity at the Mithapur facility and ₹775 crore for expanding precipitated silica production at the Cuddalore plant, the company said in a regulatory filing.
