Jonathan Bailey has been quite open about his sexuality over the years. At a time when many believe in hiding their personal choices for the betterment of their career, Jonathan has embraced it openly. A few years back on being asked his professional choices and sexuality have ever been in direct conflict, and if he’s ever felt compelled to repress that half of himself in order to succeed, the actor had expressed how frustrated he was.

In a conversation with GQ, Jonathan Bailey said that he was advised to hide his sexuality for progress in his career. He added, “I reached a point where I thought, Fuck this, I’d much prefer to hold my boyfriend’s hand in public or be able to put my own face picture on Tinder and not be so concerned about that than getting a part."
