The New York Public Library has announced their best books of 2025

In honor of the annual tradition, NYPL will also provide unlimited e-book access for a selection of the titles for the first time

The offer is open to all patrons who hold a NYPL library card

The New York Public Library is providing their own treat this Black Friday.

During an event at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library on Nov. 20, NYPL announced their selections for the best books of 2025. The curated list features over 200 titles for adults, children and teens, broken down into four categories: 50 Best Books for Adults, 50 Best Books for Teens, 100 Best Books for Kids (100 titles) and 25 Mejores libros para pequeños / Best Books for Kids in Spanish.
