Octopus Energy, a major energy firm with over seven million customers in the UK, has confirmed a major boost to its winter support. The Octo Assist scheme is offered by the energy firm to some of its most vulnerable customers, helping them manage their bills and stay warm during the winter period.

It includes a wide array of support, with the £40m fund providing grants, personalised help, standing charge waivers, free electric blanket, and more. However, not everyone will be eligible for the scheme so it's worth applying and waiting on a decision from the firm if you feel you need the extra help.
