Nitish Kumar is poised to assume office once again as the chief minister of Bihar, following a resounding victory for the NDA in the state. Having been chosen as the leader of the legislative party, he took his oath as Bihar CM today, November 20, marking his tenth time in this role.

Kumar will receive a salary as the chief minister and will also be entitled to pension for his tenure as a member of Parliament (MP) previously.

He will also get benefits in the form of dearness allowance, travel allowance, and security. However, he will not receive 10 times the pension despite multiple terms as a legislator, as per News18.
