December may still be weeks away, but it's evident the festive period has already begun in earnest. For countless Scots, the highlight of Christmas remains the seasonal markets that spring up throughout the nation.
The Daily Record recently published a glowing assessment of Edinburgh's Christmas Market, hailing it as "the best it has been in years". Additional major markets are also taking place in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and beyond.
One more modest Christmas celebration will unfold this weekend in the Daily Record's latest Town of the Week feature. This time, we're heading to Cupar in Fife .
Cupar is a town, former Royal burgh, and parish positioned between Dundee and Glenrothes. Previously a thriving market centre, today it remains a peaceful town housing approximately 9,000 residents.
