Bath-headquartered broadband provider Truespeed has announced the appointment of a new chief executive.

Nelson Missier is the company's current chief commercial officer and will take over from James Lowther, who is leaving the business at the end of the year.

Mr Missier has more than two decades of experience in the telecoms sector, including as managing director for Europe for Storytel and as commercial director for Tele2 in Sweden. Before that he worked for Booz & Company, BT Group and Vodafone India.
