Huma S Qureshi made a smashing Bollywood debut with Anurag Kashyap ’s Gangs of Wasseypur. At the 10th edition of Expresso, Huma went down memory lane, recalling her first encounter with Kashyap and how she landed her debut film. She also revealed her salary for Gangs of Wasseypur.

At Expresso, Huma recalled how the opportunity to become part of the iconic project came her way. It began when a casting director recommended her for an ad shoot, where she first met Kashyap.

“Gangs of Wasseypur changed my life. I was this young, Delhi girl. I went for the ad shoot and I was wearing a lot of makeup, the amount one should wear for advertisements.
