The Emporia Public Library is getting into the holiday spirit as it prepares to host its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6 — and this year, the celebration is returning to its home base.
Library staff originally planned to move the event to the Little Theater due to ongoing restroom renovations, but with construction delays pushing the timeline back, the festive tradition will once again unfold inside the library at 110 E. Sixth Ave.
Families can expect a merry morning filled with holiday cheer, light breakfast treats and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Each child will receive a free book to take home — a gift that library staff say adds an extra spark of joy to the season.
