After a strong season from the Emporia High Spartans soccer squad, which saw them go 10-6-1 and earn the eighth seed for regionals, they would fall to Goddard-Eisenhower in a first-round matchup in the West Regional bracket, ending their season. With the season over, the All-Centennial League team honors were released, and the Spartans had eight representatives.
First Team
Senior Midfielder Kevin Magana
The engine of the Spartans, Magana, continued a stretch of earning All-Centennial League honors. He finished the season with the second-most goals and most assists on the Spartans with 13 and 15. As a senior, he finished his career with four All-Centennial honors and was regarded as one of the best players both in the league and in Kansas, making the KSHSAA players to watch list in 2024.
