President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on Friday, Nov. 21.

The two have made barbs at each other publicly during the past few weeks but have yet to meet in person. Trump has repeatedly and incorrectly labeled Mamdani, who will be leading not only the biggest city in America but also Trump's hometown, a communist. The 34-year-old Democratic Socialist has vowed to meet with Trump to discuss affordability, though he also challenged Trump publicly in his victory speech.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not give insight into what their meeting will be about, saying she did not want to get ahead of the president. Here is what we do know about the meeting:

What is on Trump's schedule today?

The only item listed on the president's public schedule is his meeting with the NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

During this time of year, Trump often departs for Palm Beach, Florida, to go to his estate at Mar-a-Lago for the weekend. But his schedule shows him staying at the White House on Nov. 21. Instead, temporary flight restrictions that indicate presidential travel are expected Nov. 25-30 for airspace including Mar-a-Lago, suggesting Trump is planning to go to Florida for the Thanksgiving holiday.

What time is Trump meeting Zohran Mamdani?

The meeting is set for 3 p.m. local time Friday, Nov. 21, in the Oval Office, per the White House schedule.
