As of now, Shedeur Sanders will begin his first NFL start officially on Sunday, and all eyes are on him. He came into last week’s game after Dillon Gabriel got injured during a 23-16 loss to the Ravens, but his performance wasn’t great. Many fans defended him and argued he struggled because he didn’t get enough practice reps with the starters.

His father, Deion Sanders, supported that idea. He said, “I know the fight behind the fight, I know what’s been transpiring behind the curtains, and I’m just proud of him. Because he’s not just saying the right things, he’s doing and living the right things. That’s just who he is. He’s a Sanders.”

His comments made even more people believe Shedeur wasn’t given a fair shot in his debut.
