If you were sleeping on the main event for the UFC's first show in Qatar, maybe there's reason for an awakening.

At Friday's ceremonial weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 265 (ESPN+), which takes place Saturday at ABHA Arena in Doha, lightweight headliner Arman Tsarukyan was having none of Dan Hooker and delivered a head butt that forced security officials to get in between them on the stage.

Of course, there's something to be said about just how wise of a move a head butt is, given the possibility of a cut on the head of either fighter could put the main event in jeopardy. And for Tsarukyan, such a scenario, regardless of how unlikely, would have been a disaster.

Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) was supposed to have a title shot in January against then-champion Islam Makhachev (who this past Saturday won the welterweight belt), but an injury in the middle of his weight cut forced him out Now he'll have to beat Hooker if he wants another crack at the belt – against new champ Ilia Topuria.

Hooker (24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC) will be looking to upset Tsarukyan's proverbial apple cart and has three straight wins on the heels of a rough stretch of four losses in five fights – to Makhachev, Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler and Arnold Allen. Tsarukyan is a massive 6-1 betting favorite.
