AT&T has announced it has added 17 cell sites in 15 counties across Pennsylvania as part of its 5G network expansion.
The company states that the improvements benefit both customers and first responders, as well as public safety officials.
“These new sites will give our first responders the mobile broadband connections they need to keep our communities safe and respond to emergencies,” David Kerr, president, AT&T Pennsylvania and West Virginia, said in a news release.
From 2020 to 2024, AT&T says it has invested more than $1.5 billion in wireless and wireline networks in Pennsylvania.
“What’s more, these new sites give more Pennsylvanians more access to mobile connectivity they need,” Kerr said.
