President Volodymyr Zelenskiy says he will not betray Ukraine's interests in a US-led peace process, warning that his country faces a choice between losing a key partner and its dignity at one of the most perilous moments in its history.

A 28-point plan that the United States has presented to Ukraine endorses some of Russia's demands and leaves security guarantees for Ukraine vague.
