Budgam: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam , Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, today convened a meeting to review the status of power transmission towers coming in the alignment of the upcoming Semi Ring Road project in district budgam and requiring acquisition of land across different parts of the district.

Besides Executive Engineer KPDCL, officials from Revenue Department, JKPTCL, PGCIL and other concerned agencies attended the meeting and presented a detailed overview of the towers affected, land requirement, associated compensation and the progress on indent placements.

During the meeting, it was informed that a total of 28 towers along with one tower leg from five major transmission lines fall within the Semi Ring Road alignment and require land acquisition under the provisions of the Centr
