GARLAND, Texas (KFDA) - The Goliad Tigerettes defeated the Bushland Lady Falcons in three sets (25-22, 25-18, 25-16) in the UIL Class 3A Division I State Championship on Friday.

The Tigerettes took the first set by a narrow margin (25-22), and followed that up with a little bit more cushion in the second (25-18).

Bushland was not going down without a fight, but with a possible sweep in sight the Tigerettes jumped into action to win the third and final set (25-16).
