DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A 73-year-old man was found dead after being attacked by what deputies believe was a large pack of dogs, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday Nov. 18, at around 7:30 p.m., deputies and animal control were called to a home in the Silver Valley Community on Jeanette Lane in Thomasville.
When law enforcement got there, it found a 73-year-old man dead at the scene with injuries that deputies said were beyond the possibility of life-saving intervention.
According to the sheriff's office, preliminary evidence indicates the man died after being attacked by a large pack of dogs.
