Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad

On Friday, the Karnataka High Court directed the electoral officer to conduct the long-delayed elections for various posts within the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on December 7. The decision was welcomed by Team Game Changers, led by Venkatesh Prasad.

The election, initially set for November 30, was postponed by the KSCA electoral officer to December 30 due to ambiguity surrounding the nine-year clause for participants.

Justice Suraj Govindaraj issued the order, nullifying the letter from the electoral officer dated November 17 regarding the postponement. Furthermore, Justice Govindaraj appointed former state High Court judge, Justice Subhash B Adi, to oversee the election process.
