ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ( WWSB ) — The Tampa Bay Rays are making progress on repairs to Tropicana Field, showing photos of a new, stronger, and more resilient roof being installed.

The stadium is undergoing repairs to the roof and inside the field, including installing all-new turf.

The work stems from damage caused by Hurricane Milton in October 2024, when the storm ripped apart and shredded the original roof.
