KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - For the third straight game, Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will not be suiting up.
Head coach Andy Reid announced Friday that Pacheco would be ruled out for Sunday’s Week 12 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts as the fourth-year running back continues his recovery from an MCL sprain of his right knee.
Pacheco suffered the injury near the end of the fourth quarter of Kansas City’s Week 8 victory over the Washington Commanders.
Reid said Pacheco did not suffer a setback this week during practice, despite the Chiefs listing him as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and then downgrading the Rutgers product to limited later in the week.
“It wasn’t a setback,” Reid said. “We were just seeing where he was at and trying to give him some work. H
