Louis Tomlinson has donated a huge sum to provide help to a former security guard of One Direction.

The singer has given £4,000 to ex-One Direction security guard, Preston Mahon, 54, who has been suffering from deteriorating health.

Preston was initially told he would need surgery on his knee, but after the operation was carried out, health professionals found out he had a clogged artery in his thigh.

The age-old friend of Louis, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and the late Liam Payne then underwent an angioplasty to remove the clot in his left thigh.
