WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Trump has announced the removal of several tariffs on goods imported from Brazil, which could lead to lower grocery prices for consumers.
The White House stated that this executive order removes tariffs on coffee, beef, fruit juices and nuts, and applies retroactively from November 13.
President Trump explained that the tariffs were initially imposed in July to protest the trial of Brazil's former president, Jair Bolsonaro.
