Judd Trump admitted that Mark Williams surprised him (Image: PA)

Judd Trump says he was happy to capitalise on Mark Williams' mistakes after beating the Welshman 4-0. The world number one overcame his own errors to progress into the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship semi-final.

The 36-year-old admitted he was surprised by the mistakes from his opponent, which added to his nerves. Williams , a three-time World Champion, couldn't capitalise on errors made by Trump during the contest and was on the wrong end of a thrashing in Saudi Arabia.

"I felt quite slow actually, I felt quite sluggish, and I was a little bit nervous, and I think the fact Mark was missing everything made me even more nervous," Trump said on TNT Sports. READ MORE : James McClean tipped for shock Wrexham exit w
