BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) - A longtime Virginia figure in memorializing history has passed away at age 96.
Lucille Hoback Boggess died November 19, 2025, according to her obituary , and she will be laid to rest November 26.
The obituary refers to her experience with military history and the creation of the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford.
