SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Four families in Sioux Falls received a holiday miracle on Friday when they moved into new homes built with help from Habitat for Humanity.
As with all Habitat homes, the families spent 18 months learning home maintenance and financial skills, while putting in hundreds of hours helping build their own homes.
“It is giving season and we are really excited. We are hoping to finish up our Millard Acres development, which is where our homes are being dedicated today. The energy is really exciting, and we are so glad they are going to be able to get into their homes just in time for the holidays to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, and any other holidays that they celebrate.
