Discussions about saving Engel Stadium continue. This comes after The University of Tennessee Chattanooga announced they would tear down the site for a women's athletic complex.

Now, some residents are questioning a resolution document from 2002 between Hamilton County, the City and UTC.

The resolution lists several agreements the University must abide by.

One that is standing out to many is regarding the Stadium's maintenance.

It reads, "In the event the University fails to maintain the property as a sportsplex with proper ancillary support services for a period in excess of one year, the parties agree that said property shall revert back to the city and county."
