Tate McRae just delivered the deluxe edition of her 2025 studio album So Close to What on Friday (November 21), and fans are eagerly digging into the lyrics of every new song on the expanded record, including “Horseshoe.”
The 22-year-old superstar included several new songs, including some with eyebrow-raising lyrics that seem to be about her summer split , as well as acknowledging her alter-ego.
The track was produced by Grant and Emile Haynie , and Tate wrote it with the two alongside Amy Allen .
The track sees Tate comparing her lucky life as a public figure while simultaneously feeling sad in her personal life.
