The Jonas Brothers, who brought their "Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown" 20th anniversary tour to the Amica Mutual Pavilion on Thursday, Nov. 20, added a truly hometown touch to the show.
Opening for his brothers Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, Franklin Jonas − often referred to as the "Bonus Jonas" who is also a singer-songwriter − sang his very own rendition of the Block Island Ferry jingle. You know the one − "Sail away on the Block Island Ferry. Take a trip back to care-free times. Leave today, Block Island awaits you. Just leave your worries behind. Come with me to Block Island."
The catchy tune is perhaps the best known Rhode Island jingle, and even made it into The Journal's bracket-style competition for the "Most Rhode Island Thing Ever" back in October.
