GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Violent crime survivors can now receive free psychiatric and mental health services at Corewell Health’s new trauma recovery center.
The recovery center, located at Corewell’s community medicine clinic at 75 Sheldon Blvd. SE, will offer therapy, case management and psychiatric medication services to adults suffering from trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Subodh Jain, vice president and department chair for behavioral health at Corewell, said every survivor of violence “deserves a chance to heal.”
“This center ensures they don’t have to face trauma alone,” he said. “Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and addiction specialists, all working together to restore hope and stability.”
