Five former executives of a Standish-based company were sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a scheme to defraud the U.S. and Michigan transportation departments, federal prosecutors said.

The men were executives of Surveying Solutions Inc. or SSI .

Andrew Semenchuk, 53, of Rives Junction and Jeffrey Bartlett, 53, of Standish each were sentenced Nov. 18 to 15 months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release, according to a Nov. 20 release from the the U.S. Attorney's Office in Detroit .
