The fashion designer found dead on a boat at a Long Island yacht club had “only trace amounts” of cocaine in her system, her family’s autopsy reportedly found, appearing to clash with a statement by cops.
Suffolk County authorities investigating the baffling case have said glamorous Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra , 33, most likely died of an overdose after her body was discovered on the boat, which was moored at the Montauk Yacht Club, on Aug. 4.
Police cited a white powdery substance near her body and “no signs of violence.” But they also have remained tight-lipped on further details, claiming they are awaiting the final results of their own official autopsy.
