SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System is changing the way students access their accounts after a phishing email was “discovered and accessed” by a student.
In a letter emailed to parents today, November 21, 2025, SCCPSS says “our Information and Cybersecurity Team identified a phishing email targeting student accounts” earlier today.
Any student with an email from an outside source with the subject line “Important Update: Your SCCPSS Account” should refrain from clicking on any links or opening any attachments in the message , SCCPSS says.
