No one knew what to expect when Zohran Mamdani, New York City’s 34-year-old mayor-elect, arrived at the White House on Nov. 21 for a meeting with President Donald Trump.
After all, the lead up to the much-anticipated meeting was anything but peachy. Rather, it was a road barb-wired with insults, threats to cut NYC funding and clashes over immigration raids.
