UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command (Cdr NC) visited Shahsitar in Poonch as part of his continuous tour of forward areas and hinterland locations to conduct an in-depth review of the overall security situation.

Lt Gen Sharma, a highly experienced Military leader known for his strategic acumen, field expertise, and deep understanding of the operational dynamics of Jammu & Kashmir, has been regularly visiting critical locations to ensure that the security grid remains robust and responsive.

Having served extensively in the region, he is well acquainted with the topography, terrain challenges, and the complex security environment of the Pir Panjal belt, which enables him to provide effective guidance to field formation
