JONESBORO — Plans for a 232-lot subdivision on Ga. Highway 54 across from Mundy’s Mill High School will go forward after the Clayton County Board of Commissioners approved a rezoning and a future land use amendment.
During its Tuesday, Nov. 18 regular meeting, the County Commission approved the FLUM and rezoning with 4-1 votes on both items.
Alaina Reaves, Tashé Allen, Gail Hambrick and DeMont Davis voted for both while Alieka Anderson-Henry voted against both.
The FLUM changes the more than 146 acres from agriculture to low-density residential while the rezoning is from agriculture to single-family residential.
