Amy Redford, daughter of acclaimed actor and director Robert Redford, took to Instagram this week to address the proliferation of artificial intelligence-generated content falsely depicting her father's funeral and family tributes following his death in September.

In a heartfelt post, Redford thanked supporters for their condolences while clarifying that no public funeral has yet been held for the Oscar-winning filmmaker and Sundance Institute founder.

"There have been multiple AI versions of funerals, tributes, and quotes from members of my family that are fabrications," Redford wrote. "Renderings of my Dad who clearly has no say, and depictions of my family that do not represent anyone in a positive light are extra challenging during a difficult time."
