ELWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- The deadline is quickly approaching to donate wreaths for veterans buried at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

More than 80,000 veterans are buried at the cemetery, located in Elwood, Illinois.

At last check, just under 16,000 wreaths have been donated.

The deadline to donate is midnight on Thanksgiving day.

Wreaths can be purchase online at chicagohonor.com for $17. That money will be given to Wreaths for America, the organization supplying the wreaths.
