The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 5:52 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 11 a.m. for Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands and Lane County Lowlands.
The weather service states to anticipate, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," explains the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions."
