On Friday in the Hatchet House, Washington senior Katie Reed was honored before the Sullivan game with a ball recognizing her for her 1,000 career point earned last week.
For a while on Friday, it looked like she wasn't far from her next 1,000 points too. She ended the game with 24 points in less that three quarters of action. WHS (4-2) was also helped by junior London Gilley, who ended with 15, and the Hachets' defense which limited Sullivan to just six baskets in the 58-14 win, all while knocking down eight triples.
