SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Sacramento is offering $200,000 in grant funding to support projects along Stockton Boulevard, aiming to revitalize the corridor in ways that balance the old with the new.

"We need to make sure that we're supporting the small businesses, the property owners and the people who live along the corridor,” said District 5 City Council Member Caity Maple. “When these corridors thrive—the rising tide lifts all boats—the whole city thrives.”

In 2024, the Sacramento City Council adopted the Stockton Boulevard Plan. The plan is both a Specific Plan and a Neighborhood Action Plan with an emphasis on land use, housing, arts and culture, inclusive economic development, environment, public health and safety, and community engagement.
