POUGHKEEPSIE – There’s no one way to win a basketball game. For the Marist University men's basketball team so far this season, they’ve seemingly created an identity to do so.

You’re going to have to earn every single bucket in order to win.

Surviving an utter slugfest in McCann Arena on Friday night, the Red Foxes (3-2) took down Army, 76-65, to move to 2-1 at home on the young season. It was the third of six straight home contests for Marist.

Overall, the Red Foxes held the Black Knights (1-5) to just under 38% from the field and a 7-for-32 mark from beyond-the-arc. It is the fifth straight game to start the season where Marist held the opponents under 40% shooting.
