SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - South Dakota State jumped out to a double-digit lead less than five minutes into the contest and cruised from there as the Jackrabbits pummeled Georgia State, 105-58, on Friday inside First Bank & Trust Arena.

The matchup, played in front of 2,641 fans, was part of the Cancun Challenge multi-team event. SDSU never trailed in the contest.

Matthew Mors hit a 3-pointer 15 seconds into the affair for the Jackrabbits and Georgia State followed with a field goal to make it 3-2.

A nine-point scoring run for the Jacks put them ahead 12-2 at the 15:20 mark of the first half.

Another scoring stretch for the Jacks, this time 12 straight points, put SDSU up 24-4 just over eight minutes into the half.
