LEOMINSTER ‐ With the scoreboard still in a scoreless deadlock between No. 1 Sutton girls soccer and No. 6 Littleton, the Division IV state championship game looked to be headed for overtime.

A physical defensive battle had kept both sides from finding the back of the net as the final minute approached. Then, with little to no time remaining, the Suzies geared up for one final push before the whistle.

Pressure came from multiple angles around the Tigers’ goal, as many Sutton players worked the ball around Littleton defenders to try to create some shot opportunities.
