Mitchell Starc is leading Australia’s bowling attack in the ongoing first Test of the 2025-26 Ashes series against England at Optus Stadium in Perth. The left-arm pacer picked up seven wickets for 58 runs in 12.5 overs in the first innings on Friday, November 21, and has dismissed three batters so far in the second innings to complete his 10-wicket haul in the series opener. Before completing his 10-fer in the series opener, Starc entered his name in the record books by becoming the third bowler in the world to take 200 wickets in the World Test Championship (WTC).
