New Delhi: The Delhi Police Crime Branch on Saturday busted a major ISI-backed arms racket operating across multiple states, arresting four alleged members of the network and seizing a large cache of foreign-made weapons and ammunition.

The breakthrough comes amid an ongoing crackdown on a Pakistan-sponsored Jaish “doctor terror” module behind the Delhi Red Fort car blast, which killed 13 people and injured more than 30.

Acting on intelligence inputs, a team led by DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav intercepted the network, which had been using drones to smuggle weapons from Pakistan into India — a tactic increasingly used in cross-border trafficking.
