Bhubaneswar : A low-pressure area has formed over the Malacca Strait, near Malaysia, and is likely to intensify into a depression by November 24, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The system is expected to further intensify, potentially becoming a cyclonic storm.
The IMD has not issued any warning for heavy rainfall in Odisha for November 26-27.
