We are right in the heart of championship season for boys and girls soccer, when some of the state’s top teams etch their names forever in state history.

Some teams may only do it once, while others are mainstays on the state stage.

This season, Rutgers Prep won its fourth straight girls group title to move into a tie for the third-longest girls streak in state history.

Here’s a look at which boys and girls soccer teams in history have won three or more consecutive state titles, with this year’s Non-Public A champ, St. Benedict’s, looking to join the elusive club next season:
